St Athan community concerns meeting follow up

Thank you to all those who attended this afternoon's community concerns meeting at The Gathering Place.

The majority of the concerns raised during the meeting were regarding speeding/road safety issues in the area.

During the meeting, I suggested that the best way to address this issue going forward is to form a Community Speedwatch group in St Athan. This way, data can be obtained to evidence that there is an ongoing issue with speeding in the area which can help to secure higher-level enforcement like regular mobile camera van deployments and speed cameras in the area. 

This would require a a group of at least six people who are willing to volunteer to run the scheme alongside myself, and unfortunately I was unable to secure this during the meeting.
